Details of Disappearance
Brian went missing from Trenton, Michigan on October 16th 1990. He was last seen the previous night after he left his family’s residence and showed up at a friends house. He was never seen or heard from again. His friend originally claimed that Brian left his home between 12:00 am and 1:00 am to return to his home.
His friend would later change his story and say he and Brian planned to runaway together at the time of his disappearance. His parents do not believe Brian ran off or had any plans to do so. He was loved and wanted sin his family and had recently gotten $300 worth of clothing and shoes. He took no other personal belongings besides the clothing he was wearing that night.
Brian was also not having any family problems or home issues at the time. His parents believe that if he ran away, he would’ve packed up some stuff and taken clothing with him. He also left behind a new backpack.
Investigators suspect that foul play was involved in Brian’s disappearance and have named multiple suspects in his disappearance. One of those suspects was an older man with graying hair. He was known to roughhouse with boys including Brian behind Trenton City Hall. He referred to Brian as “son” and said he could kill him after a wrestling incident.
Investigators have also named several persons of interest in the case. Some of those people were close to Brian’s age when he went missing in 1990. No one has been held accountable for his disappearance and investigators remain skeptical as to what happened to the boy.
At the time of his disappearance, Brian was described as gentle, quiet, and intelligent. He was known to play around with computers and games when he disappeared. He also loved his baby sister who was 4 years old when he went missing. For 10 months after that, she would set a place at the table for Brian.
Brian’s disappearance remains unsolved and foul play is suspected. His mother hopes he is alive and will one day return.
