Missing Children Cold Case submissions can be made through the submission page. All you need to do is fill out the case form and the case will be researched further and it will be added immediately following the submission being received. Cases are added in the order of their NCMEC case numbers or at least in the category of their number until submissions are made. Missing children that have been missing for decades do not need a NCMEC Number to be added.
There are regulations for these cases however:
1.) The missing child must have had or has an existing case file with a law enforcement agency. Cases that once had one but the case file was later lost or destroyed will be added. If a child you submit is not on file with any agency then it will not be added and an email will be sent about this.
2.) The child has to be missing for at least 10 years or more.
3.) The age requirement for this is 17 and younger but if a person above the age of 18 is registered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or any missing children agency then the case will be added. Some cases where the person is 18 or 19 will be added.
4.) This site serves as an international clearinghouse for missing children. Any and all countries are acceptable when submitting a missing child case.
