Details of Disappearance
Jason was last seen in Bullhead, Arizona on August 15th 1997. He was last seen by his friend, Kenford J. Farley, as they were both looking for crystals in a nearby desert. Their orange 1977 Dodge van got stuck on a remote dirt road. The two boys were left with no choice but to walk when they finished.
The two boys started walking to town that evening. Kenford said he last saw Saul at 4:00 am when they split up after a mile of walking. Kenford made it to the Bullhead Community Hospital at about 9:00 am but Jason never made it. He has never been seen or heard from again.
Jason was reported as missing at noon on August 16th and an extensive search by law enforcement and rescue teams took place but no trace of Jason was found. Investigators are unsure of what happened to him but his family fears he was murdered after he disappeared.
Jason’s case remains unsolved and is currently classified as an endangered runaway.
