Details of Disappearance
Chipley was last seen with a friend, James Bess, in Radcliff, Kentucky on October 4th 1984. They were staying in a boys’ group home in the 1300 block of 13th street at the time. The two boys ran away from the home and have never been seen again. Chipley had been adopted by a Radcliff couple along with one of his siblings in 1980. He was sent to live at the group home in 1983, a year before his disappearance. Him and James remain missing and their case unsolved. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
