Details of Disappearance
Edward was last seen in Prospect, Oregon on June 22nd 1978. He was camping with his church group in the Sky Lakes area near the middle fork of the Rogue River outside Butte Falls. He told his brother that he planned to do downstream to fish by himself. He was never seen again.
A search of the area took place but no indications of his whereabouts were found. His case remains unsolved. Investigators believe it’s possible he became lost and succumbed to the wilderness.
