Details of Disappearance
Anthony was last seen in Denver, Colorado on June 12th 1989. He was sleeping with his mother, Jessica Moya, in the couch in an apartment in the 500 block of Webster Street, near West Sixth Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard at approximately 8:30 pm. Him, Jessica, and his infant sister were staying with relatives at the time of Anthony’s disappearance.
Jessica told authorities that she woke up at approximately 8:45 am and noticed that Anthony was not in the bed with her. The front door of the apartment was also open. There was no sign of Anthony or anyone that might have abducted him. He has never been seen or heard from again. She and her boyfriend were subjected to polygraph tests and both failed. She told the media that she and her boyfriend were considered suspects in Anthony’s disappearance.
She maintains her innocence in his case and believes he was taken by a stranger. Other people who lived in the apartment complex stated they had not seen anything suspicious on the morning of Anthony’s disappearance. Due to unclear factors in his case, Anthony’s disappearance is classified as a non family abduction.
His case remains unsolved.
