Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian Female, Blonde hair, Blue eyes, Jackie has a small scar along her right eyebrow, she has freckles which run across the bridge of her nose and one small freckle between her right thigh and pelvis, she was known to have a small cavity between her upper front teeth at the time of her disappearance, and her hair was cut in a dutch boy style

Details of Disappearance
Jackie Dene Hay was last seen in Topeka, Kansas on September 12th 1981. She disappeared while her family prepared for an outing. She was last seen at approximately 4:00 pm as she walked away from the Colfax and Golf Park. She was discovered missing soon afterwards but authorities did not start searching for her until hours had passed since the report was filed.
After her disappearance, a gas service man came forward to police and stated that he saw Jackie following a man at the time she was seen walking away from the Golf park.The sighting that the gas service man gave to authorities has been the closest thing authorities have had to a clue in her case.
Very few clues have been uncovered in her disappearance. On the same night of Jackie’s disappearance, authorities picked up a local man and questioned him regarding Jackie’s disappearance for hours. He was released without any charges being brought up against him.
At the time of her disappearance, Jackie was a kindergartner at Avondale East Elementary School and she lived with her family which included her parents and 4 older siblings in the 3000 block of Colfax in Southeast Topeka.
Jackie’s disappearance remains unsolved and she is believed to have been abducted by a stranger. Her mother passed away in 2007.
