Details of Disappearance

Victor was last seen in Las Cruces, New Mexico on April 8th 1986. On that day, his family took him to see his probation officer on Solano Drive which is south of Apodaca Park. He was on juvenile probation at the time because he was involved in gang activity.

After his visit, he asked his mother to drive him to a friends home in the Dona Ana apartment complex. His mother expected him to be home by evening but he never returned home. His friend stated that he and Victor went to Apodaca Park off Madrid Avenue. He stated that Victor went to the toilets at approximately 2:30 pm and never came back.

Victor has never been seen or heard from since that day. Authorities and his family believe his disappearance may be linked to the gang activity he was involved in at the time. He was having disagreements with rival gang members at the time of his disappearance.

After Victors disappearance, his family received phone calls from unknown individuals who stated that he had been murdered. His mother is certain and believes that his friends know more about his disappearance then they have let on. He had three close friends at the time. Two of them have since died; one of them was murdered and the other took his own life a year after Victors disappearance. His one remaining friend is still alive.

Victor was formally a student at the Sierra Middle School. His family still resides in the area and hope to find out what happened to him. Authorities believe that foul play was involved in his disappearance but no evidence regarding his fate has been found and his case remains unsolved.
