Clothing/Jewelry Description: A striped shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, William was wearing a gold chain at the time of his disappearance

Details of Disappearance

William Downey was last seen in Seattle, Washington on May 8th 1987. He left a note for his mother where he stated that he would be spending the night at a friends home. William failed to return home in the morning and was never seen or heard from again. His friend also stated he never saw William the evening before.

A witness stated he saw William entering a large white car, it may have been a 1974/1975 Chevrolet Impala in Seattle later during the day. William may still be in the local area. He has never been seen or heard from again.

Authorities believe that William may have left on his own accord but they can’t say for sure due to the unknown circumstances surrounding his disappearance. He was a student at Sylvester Middle School at the time and his friends tended to be older then him.

His disappearance remains unsolved.
