Details of Disappearance

Paul was last seen on August 30th 1976 in Miami, Florida. He was visiting relatives and called his mother and asked if he could return to Connecticut where he lived at the time. She sent an uncle to pick him up but by the time he got to FL, Paul had disappeared. He was never seen or heard from again.

Paul was last sighted walking on Bird Road near 112th Avenue in Miami. He was reportedly heading for a 7-11 convenience store. He never arrived at the store and was never seen again.

Paul has a prior history of running away. In October of 1975, Paul hitchhiked all the way from FL to Connecticut to visit his father, who was sick and in the hospital at the time. His parents were divorced at that time. Sadly, Paul’s father passed away on Christmas of that year. Paul and his mother and siblings moved back to Connecticut afterwards. They lived on Prospect Street in East Hartford.

Investigators believe that Paul may have attempted to hitchhike back to Connecticut after his 1976 disappearance. He never made it there. His family believes that Paul may have been abducted while doing so.

The original police report for Paul’s disappearance was lost and they have since opened a new one for him. Florida and Connecticut authorities are investigating his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.
