Details of Disappearance

Pamela was last seen in West Sacramento, California at some point between 1972 and 1973 when she was fifteen years old. She was known to pick tomatoes and it’s possible Masten was planning to travel to Alaska at the time of her disappearance.

No one has seen or heard from her since that time and very little information is available about her disappearance. It’s unclear if anyone reported Masten missing back when she initially disappeared.

On April 22nd 2023, a Missing/Murdered Indigenous Persons event was held in Blue Lake, Humboldt County, California. Two of Pamela’s relatives were in attendance and although neither of them personally knew her, they still wanted to learn what ultimately became of her. It was then that she was reported missing.

Pamela’s disappearance remains unsolved. She was a student at Washington High School in the West Sacramento area prior to her disappearance.
